For me, real estate has never been just about houses it’s about people, relationships, and making a difference. Bringing my passions together, I’ve built a life that honors my parents’ legacy while making a real impact. Serving my family, my clients, and my community is at the heart of everything I do. From the moment you meet me, I want you to feel like you matter, like you have a trusted partner by your side who truly cares about you and your move.
Real estate is in my DNA. The year I was born, my mom started her real estate career and later opened her own brokerage which she ran for over 10 years. I worked alongside her throughout grade school, high school, and college answering phones, scheduling appointments, and soaking up everything I could about the business. Some of my earliest memories are tagging along to showings, coloring pictures of houses in her office while sipping my “decaf coffee” (mostly cream and sugar), and watching her build a business grounded in relationships and trust.
My dad joined my mom full time in 2000, and in 2002, I got my license right before my oldest son was born. Working with my parents was and still is one of my greatest blessings. They taught me that this career is built not on transactions, but on people. My mom was the heart and drive of the business. She built her career on relationships and hard work, creating a fantastic client base that knew and trusted us to do the right thing and get results. Even in retirement, she continues to serve as an advisor, offering guidance and insight. The foundation she built remains at the heart of the business I carry forward.
My dad influenced my deep passion for community service. He was the person who never hesitated to help, whether it was a friend, a neighbor, or a stranger in need. He didn’t do it for attention or praise he did it because it was simply the right thing to do. Clients loved looking at houses with my dad and often requested him for showings. He made every family feel cared for, even keeping snacks in his car for the kids and remembering their favorites. He showed me what it means to truly serve others, and that’s something I carry with me every single day. His example planted the seed for me to make a greater impact.
Volunteering has always been at my core. I attended a private all-girls school from kindergarten through 12th grade, where service was woven into everything we did. I jumped at every chance to volunteer, and that desire to help others only grew stronger as I got older.
While I love real estate, I found myself wanting something more, something that could create a bigger impact and bring families together to serve. I wanted to build something where kids and families could volunteer side by side and see the importance of kindness and compassion at a young age. That’s how Kids Against Hunger United was born. Real estate has played an essential role in this mission too. Real Estate helped me fund Kids Against Hunger United in its early stages and still today every home sale helps provide a year’s worth of meals to families in need through this partnership. I’ve always believed that business should be about more than just transactions. By bringing my two passions together, I can have a greater impact on my clients and our community.
What started in my basement as small meal-packing events with friends, clients, and neighbors quickly grew into something much bigger. Over the past 10 years, we’ve packed and distributed more than 11 million meals, expanded into a large warehouse, opened a thriving community food pantry, and continue to build and maintain school pantry closets to support children and families in need. Our volunteers are the life force of this nonprofit and have helped us feed countless families. This work is one of my greatest joys, and I was honored to be recognized nationally by the National Association of Realtors as a Good Neighbor Award winner for our impact. I truly believe that if kids learn empathy and service early, we can create a kinder world and kindness matters.
This commitment to service became even more meaningful after I lost my dad to covid in 2021. The grief was/is overwhelming, and through it, I found a deeper sense of purpose. I feel a strong responsibility to carry on the legacy my parents built. My mom laid the foundation for the business I continue to grow, and my dad showed me that the best way to lead is to serve. That’s what I strive to pass on not just to my kids, but to the people we work with, the families we serve, and the community we continue to build.
My nonprofit experience has made me a more compassionate, resourceful, and hands-on realtor. Buying or selling a home isn’t just a transaction it’s a major life transition. I take pride in going above and beyond for my clients, whether that means helping them find the perfect buyer, connecting them with trusted resources, or even stepping in to clear out a home when they need an extra hand. It is my goal to be the ultimate resource and fill every need to create positive experiences. I want my clients to feel confident knowing they have someone they can rely on not just for one transaction, but for a lifetime. After 20 plus years in real estate, there are few situations I haven’t encountered, and if something new comes up, I’m quick to find the resources you need to move forward with confidence.
The trust my clients place in me means everything, and I don’t take it for granted. Being recommended to friends and family or working with past clients again is the greatest compliment. My goal is to build lasting relationships, ensuring my clients always have the support they need. When I’m not serving clients or running the nonprofit, you can usually find me at our lake house in the mountains, or hiking trails, and enjoying time with my family. If you’re looking for a Realtor who will listen to your needs, guide you every step of the way, and make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible, I’d be honored to help you with your next chapter.
With gratitude,
